Okay, remove Delaware, Rhode Island we get it. But Indiana?

by Clifford F. Thies

As of noon today, the top seven states that people on Reddit would remove from the U.S., if they had to remove one, are:
7. Delaware
6. Florida
5. Rhode Island
3. and 4. (tie) North and South Dakota
2. Indiana
1. Mississippi
As for Delaware and Rhode Island, who would notice? Losing Florida, being that it's a peninsula, at least wouldn't much disrupt the interstate highway network. Going around Mississippi would pose a problem for people driving from Atlanta to, say, Dallas, but, it is advisable.

As for losing North and South Dakota, I don't know if want two OPEC countries in the middle of our continent each one of which possesses 200 Minuteman ICBMs. But, if we were to lose Indiana, just where would the people of Illinois go to buy fireworks for the 4th of July?

You are so hardcore said...

Wow, this blog is so "hardcore libertarian." You should write a book called "The Muslims Hate Me Because I am a Hardcore Libertarian." Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck, clearly your intellectual idols, should co-author it.
